At Catholic Funeral Services, we are able to offer you a wide range of options for above ground or in ground burial in the Catholic Faith.
The type of burial chosen will depend on a number of factors such as family tradition, religious beliefs, ethical preferences and economic considerations.
Above ground options available include crypt, vault or Mausoleum. In ground burials have a number of options including traditional covered graves, monumental lawn headstones and lawn graves.
Our professional funeral arranger can walk you through the Catholic burial options in detail either in the comfort of your own home or our office.
Cremation Services
You may not have been aware that Catholic Funeral Services can offer you the option of Catholic Cremation.
Services are held at Mary, Mother of Mercy Chapel and Crematorium located in the Catholic Cemetery at Rookwood, Sydney.
The full funeral service can be held at the crematorium. This allows the services to be conducted within a Catholic context while giving the family flexibility to choose how they express their faith. For instance you have the option of celebrating the Eucharist or a simple funeral liturgy.
Alternatively you may prefer to celebrate Mass in the local parish church and follow with the cremation at the crematorium. Condolence rooms are available on site to follow the service if required.
